Following my specialist medical training at the Royal Women’s Hospital Melbourne, I obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). I also completed a two-year Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecology fellowship at the Royal Women’s Hospital, awarded by the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES). I also completed an Endometriosis and Advanced Minimal Access Surgery fellowship at Oxford University Hospital, the UK’s largest endometriosis referral centre. I have further concentrated on the management of extra pelvic endometriosis, including bowel endometriosis, by working at Oxford and with international endometriosis expert Prof Horace Roman in Bordeaux, France.
I am a training supervisor for RANZCOG and AGES accredited fellowship program and I am currently completing a Masters program in Clinical Trials, a reflection of my long-term commitment to Gynaecology research.
My academic interests include researching the areas of endometriosis, fibroids and laparoscopic surgery. I am a principal researcher in multiple randomised controlled trials and currently completing a Master’s in Clinical Trials through the University of London.
